Dr. Bobby Hoffman is a thought leader in motivation, performance, and learning, blending academic research with real-world applications to drive success. As an Associate Professor of Educational Psychology and program director at the University of Central Florida, he has dedicated his career to unraveling the science of motivation, authoring multiple books and scholarly works that bridge theory and practice. With over 20 years of experience in human resources, organizational development, and consulting, Dr. Hoffman is uniquely positioned to translate cutting-edge psychological insights into actionable strategies for business and personal performance. Dr. Hoffman combines over 20 years of corporate leadership experience with an internationally recognized academic portfolio to deliver practical, science-based strategies for enhancing motivation and performance. He has given addresses in 12 different countries, in addition to discussions and workshops throughout the United States.

Besides peer-reviewed articles, Hoffman has authored over 100 publications in the fields of education, psychology, leadership, and organizational development. In addition, Hoffman was the 2016 and 2017 Division C co-chair for research in motivation and cognition for the American Educational Research Association, the world’s largest gathering of motivational researchers on the planet. He has also twice served as motivation section chair for the American Psychological Association. He serves on six journal editorial boards including Frontiers in Psychology, Contemporary Educational Psychology, Educational Psychology Review, and Educational Technology, Research & Development. Some consider him to be the most published educational psychologist in the world based upon the vast readership of his Psychology Today blog, "Motivate."​

Recreationally, he is a (FAA) licensed unmanned aircraft systems pilot, who when not teaching, writing, or speaking can be found entertaining his grandchildren, biking, or painstakingly trying to master the Italian language.
